The Mixer

Use the Mixer as a scratchpad for creating playlists. Play music directly from the Mixer--just double-click any track. Share the contents of the Mixer with your friends. Clear the contents of the Mixer at any time.

Drag and Drop		First, select the Mixer tab in the Playlists/Mixer area. Now you can drag: Tracks from My Library Tracks from playlists you are viewing in the Display area Playlists and tracks from playlists on Playlist Central Supported music files from a local file folder Tracks, albums, and album images directly from the Music Guide You can drag and drop Rhapsody Radio channels from the Rhapsody Radio Channel Guide to the Mixer to start playback. Channel tracks will appear in the Mixer as they play.
Click in the Music Guide		Click next to a track or album in the Music Guide to add the track or album to the Mixer If you have Clicking the Play button: Adds track to the Mixer and plays track immediately selected in the General preferences, the track or album will begin playback immediately.   If you have Clicking the Play button: Adds track to the Mixer without starting playback  selected in your General Preferences, the song will be queued without beginning immediate playback. You can also press and hold [CTRL] on your keyboard and click to add the track or album  to the bottom of the Mixer queue without starting immediate playback.

 

1. Add tracks to the Mixer from the Music Guide, My Library, or another playlist.
   
   
2. Click Save at the bottom of the Mixer window.
   
   The playlist will be added to the Playlists area as a "New Playlist." You can easily rename your playlist any time.

To rename a playlist:

1. Select the playlist.
   
   
2. Click the playlist name.
   
   
3. Type a new name for your playlist.
   
   
4. Press [ENTER] on your keyboard.

1. Click Share at the bottom of the Mixer window when you have Rhapsody tracksTracks that have been streamed, downloaded, or purchased from Rhapsody. queued up. The "Share Music" window opens.
   
   
2. Follow the directions in the "Share" window to share the tracks in one of the following ways:

• Email the tracks.
• Create a RhapLinkA link to Rhapsody music, generated by the Share process. A RhapLink can be e-mailed, blogged, posted to a web site, or shared via instant messaging program. for IMInstant Messenger: a program used for real-time chat..
• Create a Rhaplink to post on a website or blog
• Publish the tracks as a playlist to Playlist Central.

• Play tracks from the Mixer by double-clicking any track.
  
  
• Delete tracks from the Mixer by selecting them and pressing [DELETE] on your keyboard.
  
  
• Empty the entire Mixer queue by clicking the Clear button .
  
  
• Reorder the tracks in the Mixer by clicking a track and dragging it up or down in the Mixer queue.
  
  
• You cannot sort the columns in the Mixer. You can add additional columns, or remove existing columns, by right-clicking on any column header and selecting or deselecting column names from the list.
