Click Rhapsody Music Guide to view the Music
Guide, where you can find over two million streaming tracks. From the
Music Guide pages, you can also access:
- What's New, a page
that presents the latest and hottest music and videos on Rhapsody.
- Playlist
Central, an online community for Rhapsody users.
- The Channel
Guide, where you can listen to commercial-free streaming Rhapsody
Channels, live internet radio stations, and even create your own custom
Rhapsody Channels.
- My
Rhapsody, your personalized Rhapsody page.

My Library
|
Click My
Library to view the contents of My Library,
your Rhapsody music collection.
Drag and drop the following items to My Library to add them to your collection:
- Tracks
and albums from the Music Guide.
- Playlists
and tracks from playlists in Playlist Central.
- Playlists and tracks
from playlists from your collection in the Playlists area.
- Tracks and albums from
My Rhapsody.
- Tracks from the Mixer.

My Channels
|
Click My Channels
to view the Rhapsody Channels and
live radio stations you have added to your personal collection
from the Channel Guide pages, and custom stations
you have created.
Drag and drop Channels and stations
from the Channel Guide pages to My Channels, or click beside the Channel name to add them to your collection.

|
a prerecorded
CD
|
When you insert a prerecorded CD into your computer's
CD drive(s), a CD icon ( ) along with the CD name (if
available) will appear in the Sources area. If you insert multiple CDs
into multiple drives, each CD will appear in the Sources area separately.
Click a CD name to
view the contents of the CD in the Display
area. From the CD view, you can play the CD or import
it to your Library.

Burn
a CD
|
When you insert a blank or into your computer's CD drive, Burn
a CD becomes active. Drag and drop the following items to Burn a CD to create
a burn queue:
- Tracks and albums from
My Library.
- Tracks and albums from
the Music Guide.
- Playlists
and tracks from playlists in Playlist Central.
- Playlists and tracks
from playlists from your collection in the Playlists area.
- Tracks and albums from
My Rhapsody.
- Tracks from the Mixer.
Click Burn
a CD to view your burn queue. You can add, delete, or change
the order of tracks in the burn view of the Display area before you actually
start your burn.
Streaming (large audio or video file that is broken into smaller pieces and transferred from a server piece by piece, so it can be viewed immediately rather than waiting for the whole file to be downloaded)
and downloaded Rhapsody tracks will need to
be purchased before they can be burned
to a CD.

a portable
device
|
When you attach a portable
player or device to your computer, the portable device icon ( ) and name will appear in the Sources area. You can drag
and drop tracks and albums to the device name, or choose to automatically
transfer the local (computer resources such as drives or files that are part of a computer, or available on a Local Area Network; music files located on your computer's hard drive(s) are referred to as "local")
contents of My Library to the device each time you sign in.
Drag and drop the following items to your
portable device in the Sources area to add them to the device:
- Tracks and albums from
My Library.
- Tracks and albums from
the Music Guide.
- Playlists
and tracks from playlists in Playlist Central.
- Playlists and tracks
from playlists from your collection in the Playlists area.
- Tracks and albums from
My Rhapsody.
- Rhapsody Channels from
the Channel Guide pages.*
- Tracks from the Mixer.
Click your
portable device to view manage the contents of the device.
If you have a Rhapsody MP3 Player
and you have marked tracks on it for purchase, the Purchase Bin ( )will appear in this area. Click the Purchase Bin
to view the tracks you have saved there. You can choose to purchase any,
all, or none of the tracks.
*You must have a Rhapsody to Go membership
and a Rhapsody MP3 Player to transfer Rhapsody
Channels to your device. A transferred Rhapsody Channel will over three
hours of music onto your Rhapsody MP3 Player, and the Channel will be
updated with fresh content each time you connect your device to your computer
while signed in to your Rhapsody account. If you do not have a Rhapsody
to Go membership, streaming tracks and downloaded
Rhapsody tracks will need to be purchased before transfer.
