Preferences: Media Type

These preferences determine which media types will use Rhapsody for playback by default. Access them at Tools > Preferences: Media Types in the Rhapsody menus.

Use these preferences to decide which file types Rhapsody will play by default. You can select any or all of the file types.

Media Types Preferences

Media Types:

MPEG	.mp3, .mp2
Real Audio	.ra(RealNetworks' audio format), .rax(Secure RealAudio format)
AAC	.m4a(Audio-only MPEG-4 files), .aac,
Windows Media	.wma
WAV files	.wav
CD Audio	.cda(file format used on prerecorded CDs)
