Menu: Controls

Use the Controls menu to control the playback of tracks with Rhapsody, without using the Rhapsody Player Controls.

What can I do in the Rhapsody Controls menu?

Menu Option

 

What Does it Do?

Play/Pause

Plays the selected track. Click again to pause the playback.

Keyboard shortcut: [CTRL] + [P]

Stop

Stops playback and clears track information displayed in the Rhapsody controls. (Does not affect the track queue in the Mixer.)

Keyboard shortcut: [CTRL] + [S]

Previous

Stops playback of current track and starts playback of previous queued track.

Keyboard shortcut: [CTRL] + [B]

Next

Stops playback of current track and starts playback of next track in the queue.

Keyboard shortcut: [CTRL] + [F]

Shuffle

Plays the tracks in the Mixer or a playlist in a random order, until all the tracks have been played. (Can be used in conjunction with Repeat.)

Keyboard shortcut: [CTRL] + [H]

Repeat

Plays the tracks in the Mixer or a playlist continuously, over and over, until stopped. (Can be used in conjunction with Shuffle.)

Keyboard shortcut: [CTRL] + [T]

Volume

Volume Up:

Increase volume by 1/10 of full.
 

Keyboard shortcut: [F10]

Volume Down:

Decrease volume by 1/10 of full.

Keyboard shortcut: [F9]

Mute:

Temporarily sets the volume of the Rhapsody player to zero (Mute On). The current track continues to play until you stop or pause it. Click again to return volume to its previous level (Mute Off).

Keyboard shortcut: [F8] 

Eject CD

Opens the door to the selected CD drive and ejects the CD.

Keyboard shortcut: [CTRL] + [J]
