Photos and Videos in My Library
Now you can save and organize your photos and videos in My Library as easily as you can save your music.
Rhapsody can automatically scan folders you select for photos and videos. See Watched Folders Preferences for more information.
You can have Rhapsody scan for photos, videos and music at any time by selecting Add Media to My Library from the Rhapsody File menu.

How do I add photos, videos and music from my hard drive(s) to
My Library?

How do I add more folders for Rhapsody to watch and transfer photos from?

When you import photos, videos or music into My Library, the actual files are not moved. Rhapsody makes a shortcut to the media where it is stored on your hard drive.
To view photos and videos in My Library, click the Photos or Videos tab.
Click a header to learn more about photos and videos in My Library.
View your photos
When you click the Photos in My Library for the first time, your photos will be arranged in List view, and they will be minimized to the smallest size. Move the slider from left to right to increase the size of the photos.

to view just thumbnails of the photo images.
- Click
to view your photos in a list, with the photo information displayed in columns. These columns show the following information about your photo. Default columns are in bold. Columns displaying an asterisk (*) can be sorted by clicking the column header. All columns can be added and removed except for the Photo Title column.

- Double-click any photo to open it in your default image editor.
Rotate your photos
Select any photo and click the Rotate-Left button or Rotate-Right button.
You can also rotate photos from the right-click menu
(menu of alternate commands; available when you click the right mouse button while using an application).
Organize your photos
Rhapsody will put your pictures in albums that correspond to the folders they are in on your computer. For example, if you had a folder called "Vacation Pictures," you will have a "Vacation Pictures" album in My Library.
You can create new albums at any time.
- Click the New Album button to create a new photo album.
- Find photos in your Library by typing a keyword into the Search Photos field.
- Click Clear to clear the current search.
Transfer your photos
You can transfer photos to your portable player or device if it supports photo transfer. Just any photo from My Library to your portable device name in the Sources area.
- Select any photo or group of photos.
- Press [DEL] on your keyboard.
- If you have Ask for confirmation... selected in My Library preferences, a "Confirm Deletion" dialog will open.
- Select Also delete from my hard drive if you wish to remove the photo file from your computer. If you do not wish to remove the photo file, leave this box unchecked.
- Click Yes to delete the photo.
If do not have Ask for confirmation... selected in My Library preferences, but you do have Remove from hard drive... selected, then photos, tracks and videos will be removed from your hard drive when you delete them, and you will not be notified first.
Watch your videos
Double-click any video in My Library to open the Rhapsody video viewer and watch the video. You can also play videos from the right-click menu
(menu of alternate commands; available when you click the right mouse button while using an application).
Organize your videos
Rhapsody will put your videos in albums that correspond to the folders they are in on your computer. For example, if you had a folder called "Dance Videos," you will have a "Dance Videos" album in My Library.
You can create new albums anytime.
- Click the New Album button to create a new video album.
- Find videos in My Library by typing a keyword into the Search Videos field.
- Click Clear to clear the current search.

Transfer your videos
You can transfer videos to your portable player or device if it supports video transfer. Just any video from My Library to your portable device name in the Sources area.
- Select any video or group of videos.
- Press [DEL] on your keyboard.
- If you have Ask for confirmation... selected in My Library preferences, a "Confirm Deletion" dialog will open.
- Select Also delete from my hard drive if you wish to remove the video file from your computer. If you do not wish to remove the video file, leave this box unchecked.
- Click Yes to delete the photo.
