How to Burn an AVCHD disc

  1. Put a blank disc in the DVD burner drive.
  2. Click the Burn tab.
  3. The Burn Home page opens. Click Video Disc Burner.
  4. The first time you use the video burning feature, RealPlayer may prompt you to download additional software from RealNetworks. Click OK to accept the software, which must be installed before RealPlayer can access your video burning drive. RealPlayer may restart.

  5. Follow the steps in the left panel.

Good to Know

The maximum total duration for an AVCHD disc is 60 minutes.

An AVCHD disc is a DVD in AVCHD format. (AVCHD stands for Advanced Video Coding High Definition, a type of format for recording and playing high-definition video.) AVCHD discs can be played only on a Blu-ray player.
